NBA Western Conference T-Mobile Rookies of November 2006

Memphis Grizzlies’ Rudy Gay were named the Western Conference

T-Mobile Rookies of the Month,for games played from the start of the

season (Oct. 31) through November.

Gay, the eighth overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, recorded seven

double-digit scoring performances including a career-high 23 points

in an 89-84 loss to Dallas on Nov. 18. Gay ranks first among Western

Conference rookies in scoring (8.7 ppg) ,minutes per game (

24.9 mpg), third in rebounding (4.7 rpg) and is tied for third in steals

(.93).
